Pattern release – Team Headband

Team Headband |

Here’s a great way to show off your team spirit and at the same time keep those ears warm when the temperatures turn colder this fall!

I know I’m wearing this, but it was actually made for Papa.  I often saw him heading out to the chicken coop in freezing temps and coming back with ice-cold ears.  He always wears a baseball cap and rarely wears a winter hat.  I thought perhaps he could just slip this headband on to protect his ears during those cold temps.

Of course, I had to make it with our favorite team’s colors – green & gold!

  1. Hooray for headbands that cover ears! I’ve come to wear a headband more often than a hat, unless it’s actually snowing and I need a brim to keep the snow out of my eyes. When I’m doing chores in winter, a hat can be too hot. If my ears are warm, I’m usually comfortable.
