I’m a day late this week as it’s Tuesday, not Monday! 🙂

This design was a pivotal moment for me. It was December 2015 and I was trying to decided if I really wanted to get serious about designing or just let it go. I followed the advice in a movie :-). No, not the “Let It Go” (Frozen) advice but instead from Meet the Robinsons – “Keep Moving Forward!”

I’m so glad I pushed on and decided to continue designing because it’s something I love doing! It still took another 6 months before I got brave and hit the Publish button (on my Trinity Cabled Pillows designs, so I’m continuing to play catch-up on some of the older designs. It’s slowing down a now. I’m getting to the ones that need finished products created – or recreated.

This design was another one that came as a result of a Designer’s Challenge. The challenge for Nov/Dec 2015 was to make a cowl in bulky weight yarn using whatever technique we wanted. I found this stitch pattern that reminded me of directional arrows to move you forward.
The Moving Forward Cowl is a great one-skein project that works up as a quick gift. I know I’m really bad about thinking ahead, but now would be the time to get a jump-start on those Christmas gifts!
