It’s pattern release Monday again! This time, I have a special pattern for you. It’s a great stash buster and learning experience rolled into one design.
The pattern is called Mystery Sampler 20 Bag. The “mystery” isn’t that you are making a bag – it’s that the rounds are determined by a random number generator! There are 20 stitches patterns, from basic stitches such as single crochet up to more complex two-round patterns.
I used four different colors in each of my samples, however you can use just one color for a beautiful monochrome bag that would showcase the stitches or a different color for each round for a truly scrappy bag!
You can use any weight yarn from sport/DK weight up to bulky – and you can even use different weights as long as they are close in size.
Except for the most basic stitch patterns, all stitches are fully defined within the PDF document. There is even a planning page where you can write out the stitches and colors you will use for each day! (Random planning – is that an oxymoron?)
