April poem

I should have worn my boots today
This ice and snow won’t go away

The gauge reads 32 degrees
But it feels much colder in the breeze

This snow makes me want to hibernate
When spring finally comes I’ll celebrate

I’m tired of these winter weathers
I want to put away my sweaters!

  1. Last week I washed and put away my flannel-lined dungarees “till next winter.”
Two days later I was wearing them again! 😉

  2. Amen Sister!!! We had snow, sleet and hail here in Michigan yesterday too.
