Today is my mother’s 71st birthday. Do you think she looks 71? Neither do I.
This is the woman that taught me needlework embroidery and cross-stitch when I was young and knitting and crocheting when I was old(er). She’s shown me how my love of crafting can benefit those in need through charities. She taught me to embrace other cultures – especially the food (like Hmong egg rolls). She taught me the basics of cooking and baking. I’m sure there’s a lot more I’ve learned from her over the years that I just can’t think of right now…

Happy birthday Mom
– and thanks for teaching me to love crafts as much as you do 🙂
