I love the area where we live. Some family members think we live “out in the boonies” but oddly enough for us, some days it’s not rural enough.
By the way, that’s not a picture of our place. It’s just one of the local farms near our home on one of those wonderfully cool but cloudy/windy fall days.
We’re only about 30 minutes from two “cities” … populations around 30 and 50 thousand each. Not huge, but enough to give us a bigger variety of shopping, dining establishments, etc. We can find pretty much everything we need without having to deal with the crowds the bigger cities have.
